How to obtain Registration Certificate?

a) New Registration

 Forms Required:

  FORM NO.20 (For Vehicle passing)
  FORM NO.21 (In Original from dealer)
  FORM NO.22 (In Original from dealer)
  FORM NO.34 (In case of Finance 2 Copies)
  FORM NO.60 (2 Copies) Or PAN No. 2 Copies attested
  Temporary No. in Original

 Enclosures:

  Chassis pencil print & Engine pencil print (plate print not acceptable)
  Copy of Valid Insurance (attested)
  Residence Proof (2 Copies - Attested)  Date of Birth proof (Attested copy)
  NOC from ETO in case of vehicle purchased from other state (excise duty)
  Temporary No is valid for One month only if the vehicle is not got registered within a month liability 

   affidavit is required and if delay is for three months or more. Police Report is required.
  Attested photograph.

Following documents are considered as residence proof :

  Voter card (attested ) OR
  LIC Cover Note at least six months old with latest receipt of payment (attested) OR
  Valid passport (attested ) OR
  Employer certificate issued by the competent authority with copy of I-card incase of employee of state or

  central govt. (attested ) OR
  If an applicant does not have any of the proofs mentioned above, he may attach attested copy of R/card

   with affidavit.

In case of Company or organization :

  ITR latest with affidavit or latest sale tax registration certificate with affidavit. (attested )
  Memorandum and resolution signature of all partners with partnership deed is required.

Note : Documents accepted as proof of Address & Age, supported by Affidavit attested by Public Notary mentioned overleaf.

b) Renewal of Registration Certificate

Forms Required:

  FORM NO. 20(Vehicle passing)
  FORM NO. 25

 Enclosures :

  Certificate of Fitness (by Authorized Dealer)
  Valid Insurance (Photo copy attested)
  Original RC
  Engine & chassis pencil print with complete alphabets( Plate print are not acceptable)
  Identity proof of owner attested (DL / PAN / I-Card showing signature)
  Affidavit for use and parking space in case of heavy /transport vehicle.
  Attested photograph

Note : Please bring original documents whose photocopies have been attached with the file.

c) Duplicate Registration Certificate

Forms Required:

  Form No. 26 (2 copies)
  LLD FORM

 Enclosures:

  Original DDR/ Photocopy Attested (Valid upto 6 months only)
  Chassis & Engine pencil print complete (Plate print are not acceptable)
  Valid Insurance (Photo copy attested)
  Address proof (2 Copies Attested)
  RC report in case of old RC
  Signature identification of the Owner (Attested)
  Attested photograph

Following documents are considered as residence proof :
